Ricardo Torres is a professor of the Insitute of Computing (IC) of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) since 2005. His research interests include Databases (Image Databases), Image Processing (Shape Analysis, Image Descriptors), Digital Libraries, Information Retrieval (Content-based Image Retrieval) and Geographical Information Systems.
