Talk: Working On Endpoints of Computer Vision: From Low Level Feature Extraction to Indoor Scene Understanding

Looking to enhance collaboration and to exchange the ideas of ongoing research projects, Prof. Erickson R. Nascimento, from UFMG, recently held a talk at IC/Unicamp. The talk introduced the VERLab (Computer Vision & Robotics) and provided a brief overview of the several research projects in which the professor is currently involved with. Most of them are related to indoor scene understanding focusing on the many different ways of extracting physical and semantic information through low-level description, geometrical data, and three-dimensional reconstruction.
